Tahanan ni Maria

"Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat." - Mother Teresa

Saturday, November 30, 2013 marks the cycle-end of our Connect Group - which we decided to celebrate with the elders of Tahanan Ni Maria.

With nowhere else to go and no one left to care, Tahanan Ni Maria, located at Barangay Lantic, Carmona, Cavite serves as the home for abandoned Lolos and Lolas. To cheer them up, we prepared games, food, carols and gifts. We were pleasantly surprised that they too, were happy to participate, even to sing and dance for us. Sweet!

Games. Games. Games.
